Parallel Gateway Synchronization

by Dave Bayless | Mar 12, 2024

  1. Get Going with BPMN
  2. Parallel Gateway Synchronization

The parallel (AND-split) gateway splits the sequence flow into two or more parallel flows. The corresponding (AND-join) gateway merges—and synchronizes—the parallel flows. Most of the time, you’ll want to use the AND-split and AND-join gateways as a set to make your process logic unambiguous.
