XYPN PAUSE Business Strategy Program
Exclusively for XY Planning Network Members
This program will help you master strategic approaches to sustain and grow the business you want. Over the course of 24 weeks, you and your peers will learn together how to think strategically, refine your value propositions and business models, and evaluate how key decisions are likely to affect your businesses’ trajectories.
By participating in this program, you will:
- Clarify the strategic direction of the firm you want to build
- Cultivate deeper, trusting relationships with your professional peers
- Develop a shared language with which to discuss and evaluate strategy
- Learn to use a variety of visual models to help you think more clearly about your business, and
- Create a framework with which to guide your choice of tactics
Cohort 2 commences May 4, 2020. Registration ends on March 31, 2020.
Business Strategy Summit
The program culminates in a one-day Business Strategy Summit at #XYPNLIVE 2020. At the summit, you’ll self-select into Lifestyle, Boutique, or Enterprise groups and work together to develop tactical solutions to help achieve your firm’s long-term strategy.
Participants will need to commit 1 to 2 hours per week on average over the course of the 24-week program. However, the time required will vary with the peak intensity occurring in weeks 9 through 18. Because the program is predicated upon peer interaction and the concepts we address will build upon one another, participation in all scheduled activities is essential. It’s better to defer your enrollment than fail to fulfill your commitment to others in your cohort.
Emphasis on Peer Conversations
Most of your time in the program will be spent in guided conversations with your peers via the Zoom web meeting platform. On average, you’ll participate in a peer conversation every week or so.
- Tell Your Story Triads are self-facilitated conversations consisting of three participants. Each triad will focus on a single question. Triads and chairpersons will be assigned randomly, so you’ll have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with everybody in the cohort over the course of the program.
- Plenary Meetings are facilitated by the program hosts and consist of the entire cohort. Nevertheless, most of the conversations will be in groups of 2 to 4 in Zoom breakout rooms.
- Quick Cameos feature a subject matter expert or program alumnus. These meetings include the entire cohort and emphasize productive Q&A.
In addition, we’ll schedule text-based Live Chat sessions from time-to-time within the Mighty Networks environment to serve as “office hours” to address questions as they arise.
